Accountabilities - The Successful Candidate will:
  • Update and maintain HR records on databases and manual filing systems.

  • Support the HR team with the recruitment process


- Perform recruitment activities (coordinate and support up to the offer stage); job posting, the interview process – i.e. schedule interviews, job offer letters, track and analyze recruitment activity

- Lead the on-boarding process – new hire documentation and access process

- Administrative support with recruitment websites (i.e. LinkedIn, Indeed and Homepage website)
  • Respond to inquiries from employees regarding HR policies and procedures.

  • Key role in Shinhan Bank Compensation and Benefits Programs (Bi-weekly Payroll, Timesheet, Group Pension and Benefit Plans)

  • Complete HR administrative functions - organization charts, job descriptions and month end reporting.

  • Support the HR team during interactions with internal(BOD and expatriates) and external business partners

 

Knowledge and Experience for This Role:
  • Required: Post-secondary education in Human Resources, with 1~2 years in Human Resources experience

  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential employee information in a professional work environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Service focused with positive attitude

  • Ability to stay organized and maintain attention to manage multiple projects and changing priorities

  • Ability to work independently with little direction in a fast paced and stressful environment, and to meet deadlines with constantly shifting priorities

  • Proven organization and time management skills – Delivery of assigned tasks with accuracy, and within established timelines

  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining quality relationships with internal external business partners

  • Excellent skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of current legislation affecting human resources

  • Experience with payroll processing desired

  • Required: Korean and English language - Chinese language considered an asset
