Associate, Supervisor Business Support

We have job opportunities for an Associate, Business Support here at Shinhan Bank Canada Head Office, located in North York, Ontario.

Associate, Business Support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to branch customer services employees
• Participate in the development of new products and services for the Bank
• Provide feedback from Shinhan Bank website to IT to improve current deposit processes
• Completion of various administrative functions – i.e. preparation of manuals, updates to deposit product Policies and Guidelines etc.
• Participate in training sessions to support the Customer Satisfaction (CS) module for new and existing customer service employees
• Participate in provide feedback and process improvements to employees about deposit products and services
• Process administrative functions to support the Treasury Team – i.e. foreign exchange, ‘SWAPs’, GICs, etc.
• Provide support to Business Strategy, with initiatives, as required
• Sundry duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and related work experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency speaking/ writing Korean and English language is a requirement for this position

 

Supervisor, Business Support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Associate, Business Support
• Oversight in the development of new banking deposit products and services
• Review updates and revisions to the deposit Product Policies and Guidelines
• Partner with Risk Management for risk review and analysis of new products and services
• Deliver training to support the Customer Satisfaction (CS) module for new and existing customer service employees
• Educate employees about deposit products and services – providing feedback and sharing best practices to improve processes at every opportunity
• Authorizing transactions for processing - administrative functions on behalf the Treasury team – i.e. foreign exchange transactions, ‘SWAPs’, GICs etc.
• Sundry duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in financial services
• Previous experience as a People Manager, is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and related work experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency speaking/ writing Korean and English language is a requirement for this position
