Retail Planning & Operations Administrator

 

At Shinhan Bank Canada we attribute our success to the strength of people and programs. We are currently searching for a highly qualified Planning & Operations Administrator who will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with the Bank’s and client goals and with Bank Operations. The Planning & Operations Administrator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

 

Objectives of this Role
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Bank’s Retail Planning & Operations strategy

  • Support retail planning and operations efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation

  • Prepare activity reports and metrics for measuring program success

  • Support market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends activities

  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools to manage efficiencies and effectiveness


 

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data

  • Support the VP in evaluating and establishing the retail planning and operations strategy by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars

  • Support Operations initiatives, responsibilities and programs

  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales team, and provide instructions for use or promotion

  • Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed

  • Research new sources of prospective customer data, and prepare reports for leadership

  • Other duties as required


 

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in banking/financial services, preferred

  • Past work experience as an administrator, co-ordinator or similar role

  • Experience with research and data analytics

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint, Photoshop and other relevant software
